@tupadre that’s correct, splashs are copied over supplmentary folder.

Did you choose option 1 after execute:

./retropiesplashscreen/setup_splash.sh

and everything went correct?

Thing to try:

After Pressing number 1, a file called dirs.txt should be created in folder, check if it has the name of the splashs folder

Check how many splashs are in:
ls /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/supplementary/splashscreens/

Check Current splash and execute script only:
1- cat /etc/splashscreen.list then check which one is there
2- sudo ./retropiesplashscreen/splashsscreen.sh
3- cat /etc/splashscreen.list check again, should change

and post results here

@buzz now it’s working, after press x when loading rom and changing to 1080p for every emulator.

@proxycell , I’m with a little bit of trouble running xbmc with CEC , so I didn’t fully tested, but you can script something that runs XBMC and upon exit, Starts ES again.
maybe using && ?

When my CEC works, if I quit XBMC it halts my PI :/

How can I turn on dispmax sdl for the emulators?

MAME/FBA scraper from Floob works perfect, the only drawback it’s doesn’t really scrape the metadata, so no description, info, rating , etc :(

Don’t think there’s 3DO emulator for pi :( It has the theme because ES is available in other platforms I think.

Just make a script to kill ES before open XBMC, for me it works perfect.

same problem, I got a blackscreen after exit the rom, never gets back to ES.
anyone have a clue about this?

Hi @proxycell yeah, it’s basically a splashscreen changer, but it adds a lots of new splashs

Not exactly the same thing that you asked for, but I created a script that makes splashscreen random and it wil also get new folders with new splashscreens.
