Adding –gamelist-only switch to the bash file worked. Thanks dudleydes!
Now I have some XML editing to do. :)
rawk1971ParticipantI found that ES has a command-line switch –gamelist-only, but I have no idea how to get ES to launch in this mode. Anyone know?
rawk1971ParticipantAnyone figure out how to use
--gamelist-only
or if it even works at all? Would really love to utilize it. Thanks.rawk1971ParticipantSame here, trackball is working fine with Xarcade2jstick in other emulators and I’m using MAME4ALL too.
rawk1971ParticipantAnyone have anything else to add to this? Are we out of luck? Sure would love to play some Marble Madness. :)
rawk1971ParticipantI’m wondering the same thing. Does the faster Pi 2 make up for the slowness of AdvanceMAME enough to make it worth using it instead of MAME4ALL?
I can’t get my trackball to work with MAME4ALL, so I’m thinking about trying AdvanceMAME instead.
rawk1971ParticipantAnyone know why the trackball on the Xarcade tankstick doesn’t work with MAME4ALL?
rawk1971ParticipantThanks for the info drvenkman. I was coming to the same conclusion as well, but it would be nice to hear a clearer answer from someone in the know.
From what I gathered, the main reason to use MAME4ALL is performance, but since the Pi 2 is faster, maybe that isn’t as much of an issue? Mabye I’ll switch to AdvancedMAME and see how it goes.
rawk1971ParticipantI’m having the same issue. I’ve got everything else wit the tankstick working well, but the trackball doesn’t work with any MAME4ALL games. It does work in the ScummVM UI. If anyone can help out, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
