postman87Participant
I run cd /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS
When I press enter it gives me the line “such directory does not exist”
Didn’t use file manager yet. I’m not at home now so I’ll try that later.postman87Participant
/home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS
Letters are case sensitive.
I know, but when I go there it says that such folder does not exist :(
postman87ParticipantAnyone? (A) Still can’t find my BIOS folder
postman87ParticipantOK, So I got the PSX roms to run on RetroPie. Only problem is that it doesnt see a BIOS file, because I didnt download that beforehand.
Anyway, I downloaded a BIOS called SCPH1001.BIN which should be the right BIOS file.
I followed a tutorial ( this one: http://lifehacker.com/get-a-ps1-emulator-up-and-running-on-a-raspberry-pi-2-1689869367) but when I get to the “put BIOS file in BIOS folder” part it seems to be that I dont have a BIOS folder where he should be. Tutorial says its in /Home/pi/Retropie/BIOS/ but when I try to go there or move the BIOS file to that folder it gives me the info that such folder does not exist :SDid they recently move the BIOS folder in 3.0? I cant seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks for the help in advance!
postman87ParticipantYeah I tried just to change it from
Bin.ecm to .Bin but obviously that didn’t work.
Thanks for the quick reply, I’ll try it when I get back home from work ;)postman87ParticipantIs there a way to remove everything in a single folder?
Let’s say in the /psx/ folder I got 2 roms with very long names. Would be easier to delete them in one go instead of typing out both names.postman87ParticipantOk nevermind my noobishnes… Forgot to uncomment. works perfectly now!
postman87ParticipantHi all,
I’m having this same exact problem with retropie 3.0 beta.
I tried this solution but somewhere in the config.txt there allready is a line that says hdmi_drive=2 . I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here, so help would be appreciated. My config.txt looks like this. I did not edit anything, it came like this after installing 3.0 beta.___________________________________________________________________________
# uncomment if you get no picture on HDMI for a default “safe” mode
#hdmi_safe=1# uncomment this if your display
has a black border of unused pixels visible
# and your display can output without overscan
#disable_overscan=1#
uncomment the following to adjust overscan. Use positive numbers if console
# goes off screen, and negative ifthere is too much border
#overscan_left=16
#overscan_right=16
#overscan_top=16
#overscan_bottom=16# uncomment to force
a console size. By default it will be display’s size minus
# overscan.
#framebuffer_width=1280
#framebuffer_height=720# uncomment if hdmi display is not detected and composite is being output
#hdmi_force_hotplug=1# uncomment to force a specific HDMI mode (this will force VGA)
#hdmi_group=1
#hdmi_mode=1#
uncomment to force a HDMI mode rather than DVI. This can make audio work in
# DMT (computer monitor) modes
#hdmi_drive=2# uncomment to increase signal to HDMI, if you have interference, blanking, or
# no display
#config_hdmi_boost=4# uncomment for composite PAL
#sdtv_mode=2# for more options see
