    Finally I found a solution for the names of the games.

    I wrote a script that transform the original MAME 0.37b5 .dat file in the gamelist.xml with the correct names of 0.37b5 version.

    Please, could you explain WHERE EmulationStation take the name fo the MAME games on FIRST-startup?

    Where are stored these names?

    There’s nothing in

    /home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelists/<system>
    /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/<system>
    /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-mame4all

    Where RetroPie takes the names of games?

    EDIT: Ok, a user wrote that they are hardcoded into EmulationStation. I wrote a script that create che correct gamelist.xml file from the original .dat MAME file.

    Is there a way to change the builtin gamelist with mine?
