No success has been found yet. I’ll be sure to post back if/when I find the issue.
nothing-safeParticipantIs there a specific folder name you out the video in on your USB stick?
If the movie I want to play is called NOOB, do you type in “omxplayer NOOB.mp4” on the command line or something else?
nothing-safeParticipantI forgot to add that I did install OMXPLAYER but the video does not run. I changed the USB stick and had no luck with the file as of yet, it could another odd MAC issue with the codec… but that never happens.
nothing-safeParticipantI was unaware of this portion of the process. Thank you very much.
nothing-safeParticipantI did see both of the pages that you listed, unfortunately for me I do not know where the BIOS files are, my plan was to enter them in manually.
The system(s) I’m trying to play is the any of the ones that come with the retropie before I upload any more ROMS (which didn’t work when I tried because of the BIOS issue).
I tried going into Raspi Config and doing the BIOS binaries installation over again and it came up with the message at the end that I originally posted.
nothing-safeParticipantI appreciate the help but I just don’t know where to enter “/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/atari800”
I read the link and its just that as a first time computer programer I don’t know where to go to configure it manually.
nothing-safeParticipantThanks for the help adid4s. This worked perfectly for both the Pie and my Caveman brain.
