Xonfluence (for those who can’t sway from the ‘vanilla’ skin)
PLEASE NOTE you can not switch to Xonfluence skin from the Arctic Zephyr skin – no idea why but it just doesn’t work so switch to Aeon Nox first and then switch to Xonfluence and you’re good to go. A minor annoyance.

Hello Smithers,
something has changed in the game Quake? Version 7.1 build of me wants to operate PS3 gamepad controls. In version RetroPie_OpenELEC_Dual-Boot_v1_SS it worked OK.
Which games folder PORTS going to control the PS3 gamepad?

Adventures Of Square
Aliens vs Predator
Brutal Freedom
Cave Story
Dinothawr
Doom 1
Double Dragon Remake
Duke Nukem 3D
Golden Axe Remake
Heretic
Hexen
Quake
Quake III Arena
Rise Of The Triad
Super Mario War
Wolfenstein 3D

You need any special setup to be able to operate the PS3 gamepad?
Thank you very much for the great job you’re doing for us.
This is the incorrect directory (it was used in an earlier version of RetroPie but changed recently). You need to change it to exactly match the below:

joypad_autoconfig_dir = /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/
1,This problem persists when using the script on video mod 4: 3 (4_3.sh)

2,Videomode switch to 4:3 only worked for the first time, then it’s still only 16:9. You can look at the problem?

DS3 gamepad does not work with some PSX games. Tested games wit Retropie 3.0 beta 4 everything OK, install RetroPie / OpenELEC (KODI) Dual Boot Disc Image and I have a couple of games where gamepad does not work at all. SELECT + triangle works to Retroarch menu, but does not work in the game. Game reports that no gamepad is not connected.
Tested games OK – Crash Bandicoot 2, Spyro 1, Tekken 3
Tested games NOT WORKING GAMEPAD – Tekken 1, Tekken 2, Tomb Raider 1 (These games but they work in Retropie 3.0 Beta 4)
Some idea? Can you help?

HOW TO Adjusting the main menu skin Amber without the use of Advanced Launcher.
Go to Settings:

Just go to settings and then Home menu, pick one of the empty slots and edit the name (no action) to RetroPie:

When you have that done, go with SSH into your Pi and edit the file “/storage/.kodi/addons/skin.amber/1080i/Includes.xml”

Find the line:

<onclick>$INFO[Skin.String(CustomHome.1.Path)]</onclick>
</item>

Edit the line “onclick” :

Please help with the creation of a shared folder on Synology NAS.
1) create share folder my NAS Synology “games”
2) make a folder in your home dir mkdir ~/games OK
3) create the .smbcredentials file and set username and password OK
4) Edit the fstab PROBLEM

proc            /proc           proc    defaults          0       0
/dev/mmcblk0p1  /boot           vfat    defaults          0       2
/dev/mmcblk0p2  /               ext4    defaults,noatime  0       1
# a swapfile is not a swap partition, so no using swapon|off from here on, use dphys-swapfile swap[on|off] for that
//192.168.0.101:/volume1/games /home/pi/games/ cifs credentials=/home/pi/.smbcredentials,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm 0 0

5) run commands sudo mount -a
