I switched my emulator to the genesis plus gx emulator, and everything works fine now.
06/30/2015 at 17:35 in reply to: EmulatorStation is asking to reconfigure Gamepad at every startup #101094lividhatterParticipantI have this same problem with ps3 controllers. Its because the controllers are totally connected by the time ES loads.
lividhatterParticipantLooks like the xbox 360 driver was claiming event1 and event2 even when the controllers werent paired, I uninstalled that driver and everything is fine.
lividhatterParticipantLooks like the problem i was having was using 2 different controllers (PS3 and xbox 360). I started using 2 ps3 controllers, and it totally works now.
lividhatterParticipantIm using the experimental package thats included in retropie. when i have multiple controllers connected, no games seem to detect the second one. How would i go about using moonlight instead?
06/11/2015 at 17:25 in reply to: Limelight (Geforce Gamestream) streaming for Retropie -installer #99517lividhatterParticipantI followed these steps on retropie 3.0 beta 3. And now im getting this error: limelight java.net.connectexception: connection refused
Here’s the screenshot http://imgur.com/HM0mBSy I tried twice.
lividhatterParticipantWhich snes emulator are you using? Its possible you arent using libretro emulator. My guess is you have configured libretro controlls, but not the others.
lividhatterParticipantTheres some bluetooth connectivity issues if you dont have the controller on at the right time.
lividhatterParticipantThis looks great, how hard would it be to hack this into emulation station.
lividhatterParticipantSo I finally got around to trying this. I drug my sms file into both game gear rom folders I have. One seemed to be osmose and one looks like it uses libretro. I renamed the files to .gg instead of .sms and they both sort of run. The libretro runs much better, but the screen is purple and cutoff.
Is there a way to fix this, or can anyone tell me how to install genesisplus-gx?
EDIT: Wording.
lividhatterParticipantIs genesisplus-gx already installed, or will i have to do something to get it installed?
lividhatterParticipantok im going to try that, im pretty sure im using picodrive. Thank you for the info.
lividhatterParticipantI can get into it but the music is horribly slowed down, and other aspect of the game are super slow. What version of pi are you on?
lividhatterParticipantive tried a couple different ones. Im not at home so i cant get the exact name right now. Ill try to remember when i get home.
lividhatterParticipantSo strange, I have horrendous audio lag from the moment I launch it and it generally runs like crap. I know im using picodrive. What overclock settings are you running at? What version of RetroPie are you on?
lividhatterParticipantOh thank you for trying, keep me posted.
lividhatterParticipantIve tried a bunch of different things and this game is totally unplayable. Has anyone else had issues with this specific game?
