    I found the best way when Im auditing ROMs is to have Emulation Station running as normal, and have a PUTTY connect it and delete unnecessary ROMs via the link.

    Great work.
    I personally would like to see this as a key feature of the next RetroPie build.

    I do have 2 Raspberry Pis running different versions of the emulators and would benefit from having all the ROMs and save states being in the same place.

    thanks for that, Ive used startx very little, and feel more comfortable at the line prompts.

    When my Pi2 comes Ill try the startline interface.

    One of the reasons I use StartX is to access the Network settings as I use a wireless USB dongle to connect my Pi to the internet rather than rely on cables.
