Nice project Alex! You got the ports fitting perfectly and you would never guess there’s a pi in there. Out of interest what snes emu are you using? Also did you stick with 480p or not? The cropped picture annoyed me too much so I stick with a resolution of 720p using Pisnes.

kitchukParticipantFoob, could you possibly do this splash screen in a 720p resolution? I would be extremely grateful. I have my pi set to 720p and this one is slightly pixilated as it’s being stretched.

kitchukParticipantCan’t see the corrected one. Did it upload correctly?

kitchukParticipantThis looks amazing! Extremely well done artwork! I’ll be using this for sure.

kitchukParticipantDoes anyone have a fix for this annoyance?

kitchukParticipantYeah it does make emulators run better but I noticed when output is at 480p there is about 5% cut off on the screen. It’s as if the image being displayed is zoomed in ever so slightly. It still does this after I tried changing the aspect ratio on the TV settings. Did you notice this? Try loading up Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening for Gameboy and you can notice away when you start playing the game.
kitchukParticipantI’m still having the problem with Golden Axe 2 after trying different rom versions. Can someone try this game to see if they have the same problem? I noticed that other role on using standalone binary of picodrive don’t encounter this problem.
kitchukParticipantHas anyone tried Golden Axe 2 with Picodrive? It goes to a black screen and you can hear some garbles static. Eventually it does load but takes a while. In the command line after exiting ES it mentions something about the m68k renderer. Anyone else had this problem? Not sure if I have a bad isntall or something.
All other roms seems to be fine its jus this game. I’ll try using other roms versions.
kitchukParticipantWhen you were editing the xml through sftp did you make sure emulation station was shutdown by pressing f4 and on the command line screen? I noticed that if you don’t shutdown from es then it overwrites the xml and erases any changes.
kitchukParticipantStrange! I used to get is sometimes on my actual NES when I was a kid. It used to be due to dust or dirt on the metal contacts of the cartridge. Have you tried using a different hdmi cable? Does this only happens in roms and not on emulation station?
kitchukParticipantHi there, to show actual names you are probably going to need a xml file after a es scrape (boxart) that will alow you to manually name the roms. Go into the retropie setup script and perform a manual scrape on the mame folder. Once this has done you can edit the xml file to change the names.
