those bright colors are not for meInsecureSpikeParticipant
Hi! I haven’t yet downloaded your updated theme as I’m at work, and apologies if this is a dumb question, but will you make available a version with your RetroPie Project logo? I prefer yours to the ‘Official’ one
hi yeah of corse I can!
I’ll get that made and I’ll update this post, which will host my logo, and Florian has said the one with the official logo will be added to RetroPieInsecureSpikeParticipantno worries, make sure your bio’s for pc engine cd, are named SYSCARD3.PCE and syscard3.pce, just duplicate and rename to whichever you don’t already have, and place them in your BIOS folder
InsecureSpikeParticipantawesome!, your very welcome!
you had this, twice<system>
i’ve also spaced out the systems so as when editing it’ll make things easier to view as i’m sure your thinking of adding more custom elements
InsecureSpikeParticipanttry this, just replace txt with cfg
InsecureSpikeParticipantok can you attach your full es_systems.cfg and I’ll take a look
InsecureSpikeParticipanttry it again but make sure the permissions are read/write
InsecureSpikeParticipantcan you drag it from your pi to your pc, then from your pc to your .emulstionstation folder.
if not, try copying via the root profile you used earlierInsecureSpikeParticipantthe new update is ready and will be added to retropie, by RetroPie Team shortly (i’ve opened an issue on github)
thank you all
InsecureSpikeParticipantin that folder
.emulationstation
you can make another called
themes
this is where to put custom themes!
InsecureSpikeParticipantok, goto
/home/pi
now make a new folder named
.emulationstation
now in that folder drop es_systems.cfg
and restart
InsecureSpikeParticipantyour welcome, if you still have trouble just say and i’ll see if i can help more
InsecureSpikeParticipantstart a brand new connection/profile in FileZilla just how you did when you connected first time
InsecureSpikeParticipantok so your using..
username: root
password: (whatever you chose)InsecureSpikeParticipantok, i’m still having issues with this, i’m embarrassed to say!
i’m trying this now..
#!/bin/bash cat /proc/meminfo
a brief readout appears but is just as soon gone! any ideas anyone,
thanks
InsecureSpikeParticipantok, quit emulation station, next via ssh make a root account on you pi with
sudo passwd
then you can make a new connection via filezilla with your root login details, now navigate to the themes folder and drop the new folder in there, then close filezilla and reboot
InsecureSpikeParticipantcool! ok mate!
thanksInsecureSpikeParticipantcharco, did you get my PM with my es_systems.cfg?
i can help you out with this you just need to contact me, so i can helpInsecureSpikeParticipantok, floob, I’ve just installed v0.4. is there any way to convert the 1080p bits to 720p before i run it?
InsecureSpikeParticipantawesome! thanks
InsecureSpikeParticipantwho are you trying to write it to the sd card?
06/03/2015 at 14:47 in reply to: Separate Turbografx 16/PC Engine/SuperGrafx/PC Engine CD/Turbo CD #98953InsecureSpikeParticipantthis is really doable on a personal level!
I have split my collection up via US & Euro releases and Japanese releases, (I’ve even gone as far as separating Hacked/Modded Roms & Tanslations) that’s much similar to your separate system idea/needs
you just need to edit your es_systems.cfg accordingly and then create rom folders for the systems you’ve added to the es_systems.cfg
then it comes to theming, I can create some custom ones if your using my theme? (it’s posted in the themes part of the forum)and questions ask away and I’ll help where I can
InsecureSpikeParticipantwell was hoping today, as I was hoping the new logo was going to be announced,
so sorry, for the lateness of the next updated.
so as soon as the logo is release. I’ll issue an update
InsecureSpikeParticipanthow many emulators do you have showing?
are you over clocked?InsecureSpikeParticipantok just a little update
neo geo pocket color
wonderswan
game and watchemulation have all been added to the experimental section of the RetroPie Setup page,
thanks everyone involved!!
InsecureSpikeParticipantthat’s all cool, I just separate as personal preference.
thanks again
InsecureSpikeParticipantawesome! thanks!
InsecureSpikeParticipantoh will this automatically create the needed info in the es_systems.cfg
cheers!
btw: the theme I just released has these themed already!
theme tags are;
ngp = neogeo pocket
ngpc = neogeo pocket color
wonderswan = wonder swan
wonderswancolor = wonder swan colorInsecureSpikeParticipantawesome! thanks mate!
InsecureSpikeParticipantyeah why not, thanks!
how does it play?thanks
InsecureSpikeParticipantthis is cool! thanks!
just added an request to add this via github..
InsecureSpikeParticipantupdate: my switch is set on “x”
InsecureSpikeParticipantthe light if I remember blinks when connecting, then on steady if using the pad, or off if using the stick, so you can switch between the 2. off hand I can’t remember what my switch is on, but I’ll look when I get home
InsecureSpikeParticipantthats really odd! i’ve never had any issues with my Logitech Gamepad F710, even when using rpi B, its usually just plug & play
