last update, it’s in beta.
look in the downloads area fella, it seams very stable from what I’ve testedInsecureSpikeParticipantcome to think of it, i take it we are talking about Wheezy here?
as all is working great in Jessie….InsecureSpikeParticipantso you configured your controller at the start page on your first boot of retropie?
did you do the following?
from the RetroPie sub folder in emulation station,
select RetroPie-SetUp
next select 3: SetUp / Configuration (to be used post install)
scroll all the way down to 328: Xbox / Xbox 360 gamepad driver
then press 1: Enable xboxdrv
next press cancel till you get back to the Choose an Option Screen
then reboot
if you didn’t do theses steps i recommend you uninstall the driver you installed manually before you try these, if no luck, try with a fresh install
InsecureSpikeParticipanthi fella, have you looked here?
InsecureSpikeParticipanti’ll have a test too shortly
InsecureSpikeParticipantif this is a non external my powered hdd, try this, I’d also recommend getting yourself a USB Y-cable
sudo nano /boot/config.txt
and add this, right at the bottom
max_usb_current=1
then save and reboot

[/quote]
well quit it useful if you plan to update roms etc on a regular basis, imho
InsecureSpikeParticipanti only noticed this post after i posted mine….. heres a link!

I have some ideas, I’ll be in touch!InsecureSpikeParticipantif you don’t want to use the stock themes, mine will work just fine, i made them to work for a high number of system usage, it’s very clean & light
https://insecurespike.wordpress.com
both available via the theme installer
InsecureSpikeParticipantI theme via Mac an yup reference any or as many themes as you like, that’s the best way, and probably the easiest way to learn.
and a great image editing app is needed too, for editing the xml’s I use textwrangler, just the basic non paid version will do!ah… also ask questions! and ask for advise too, if you get stuck
InsecureSpikeParticipantI’d up your memory split first, if no luck find a theme that’s “simple” in design as herb said
InsecureSpikeParticipantI’m really likin these mate
InsecureSpikeParticipantdamn cool idea, so each system represented by its pixel quality of graphics?
InsecureSpikeParticipantyour welcome, fella!
InsecureSpikeParticipant2.0 update now available via the RetroPie the installer!

InsecureSpikeParticipantcool, ok, i’ll have a play about and see what i can come up with
InsecureSpikeParticipantawesome, you worked this out, i’m going to update my themes later, what kinda changes you looking for with the logo? color? style? (i know you don’t use my theme, but i still will add this feature)
