SD Boot= 8gb
USB File System= 128gb of which 85gb is usedInsecureSpikeParticipantyeah I’ve been commenting them out, I just wondered it it would be better to completely remove them,
thank you for your replySent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipanthi what would the command line, that is needed in es_systems.cfg, as I’ve installed it and not sure how to work that part out
thanksSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantjust a little update:
thanks Trimmtrabb, I’ve figured out a majority of sites have the same roms,
thanks again!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantcool! well the game I’m wanting to get working is Dimahoo, and it’s on the PiFBA list, which is the emulator it tries to load on, anyways, I’m going to look around for roms from another source!
thank youSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantok mate will do! thank you! it’s just odd as the Japan version of this particular rom works very well, but the Euro & USA versions load but the then just go back to emulationstation

over clock is set to high
now i think it greatly depends on the bios you have!
i had a tough time until i found these,gg-bios.zip
hng64.zip
neocd.zip
neogeo.zip
uni-bios-30.zipuni-bios.rom
i have all these in my roms folder,
all Metal Slug, and some KoF’s work,
not too sure what else I could add!
hope this helps
InsecureSpikeParticipantI have PiFBA working near perfect, for NeoGeo, there are just a small number of games, at the moment 5 or so that don’t work, for me

InsecureSpikeParticipanthey mate, i’m having troubles with this game pad, i can get into jstest /dev/input/js0 but none of the button presses, any pointers would be great! thanks
Currently using the Logitech F710 Wireless Controller. I haven’t finished setting everything up yet, but it’s working well for the menu and GBA.
Just bear in mind that many devices see this as an Xbox 360 controller (including some PC games) – BUT the button mappings differ, so button mapping this thing may be a little counterintuitive.
It’s a great controller. A bit hefty, but has great grip and a good button layout (akin to the PS layout). It’s also the best PC gamepad you can buy – even Valve endorses it!
edit:
ok sent the controller back to the guy on eBay, got a refund, and bought a new one and worked out of the box!!InsecureSpikeParticipantis your controller plugged in when you boot? if so unplug it and try boot again, I had a similar issue, but bought a powered hub and all was good
InsecureSpikeParticipantwow thank you! i’ll give this a go on my next day off, thanks!
InsecureSpikeParticipantI noticed the other day when setting up my logitech wireless wingman that the receiver needs to be via a powered usb hub, and that was with only 1 controller, my 2nd one should arrive tomorro, but I’m not expecting any issues, great you got it sorted!

InsecureSpikeParticipanthi guys, i’m currently using an xbox 360 wireless controller, but fancy a change, do we know if the Logitech WingMan Cordless Rumblepad works ok?, i love the 6 button idea, on a modern pad
I’m thinking of just getting one, and see how it goes
InsecureSpikeParticipanthi, how did you solve this?
via Cyberduck, i can’t see a .vice folder in /home/pi/ i see other /. folders but not that one?
i’m running the 1.91 .img setup
thanks*edit*
i had to create the .vice folder, and googled for the sdl-vicerc file, then edited to my likingInsecureSpikeParticipantbut, gave up in the end, as it kept crashing, so I bought a 128gb flash drive, and did the same tutorial, for me that was much easier!
this is what Karloss possibly did

InsecureSpikeParticipantyup that worked! I never thought of adding them to the MegaDrive folder! I has been adding new rom folders and adding the extra es_systems.cfg info from here…
and yup quality is sadly poor!
but, thanks for the help fellaSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantwicked, thanks I’ll try this out again tomorro
