InsecureSpikeParticipant
if you have any problems, I can create a new updated .img and drop it in my Dropbox if that’s any help
InsecureSpikeParticipant^^ yeah that too, although it worked fine for me with no updating,
InsecureSpikeParticipantodd, I read somewhere last nite while messing around with OpenELEC that some boards perform differently depending the region they were made, give it a google if you haven’t already done so, see what ya can find out!?
InsecureSpikeParticipantyeah I have, my set up was just like using a B board, no probs accept a little over heating
InsecureSpikeParticipantask Aloshi the creator of emulation station, you can ask him here..
InsecureSpikeParticipantid suggest posting here….
InsecureSpikeParticipanthi, is that for the 1st [RetroPie boot screen or the 2nd [EmulationStation]?
thought the OP was for the 2nd oneInsecureSpikeParticipanthere ya go fella
InsecureSpikeParticipantInsecureSpikeParticipantalso, in the 1.- series of retropie, the mupen64plus needed no runcommand.sh! have a look at a back up if you have one,
InsecureSpikeParticipantwell, in the 1.- series of RetroPie, in the es_system.cfg the N64 part has no runcommand.sh in the text, and it worked!! (well just about)i
f someone has an old back up of the es_system.cfg have a look, I’ve not had a chance to try it with it removed in the new one yet, so if someone can, that’ll be great!InsecureSpikeParticipantput your roms in the fba folder
InsecureSpikeParticipantwell, its just good to know your set up, mate
what do you have plugged into your usb ports?
InsecureSpikeParticipantwhat version Pi? B or B+?
InsecureSpikeParticipantwell looking at the post for “ideas for further enhancements” it could well be possible soon

InsecureSpikeParticipanthi Florian, do you have any more art work you used for the theme?

InsecureSpikeParticipantbest off use google to search for a 0.37b5 Romset,
then you know where you are, and more help can be given,in my signature, is a link for a “working” mame4all-pi rom list but you need to get the rom set first
InsecureSpikeParticipantsudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade;
InsecureSpikeParticipantfirstly the f/w and kernel update needs to be done on your old B board

InsecureSpikeParticipantyeah ran update, yup I’ll have a little look over at raspberry.org

InsecureSpikeParticipantok, i have it, as long as Florian is ok with it, i’ll port the theme/skin over
07/19/2014 at 10:46 in reply to: Cannot Ps3 Control on bluetooth,What is wrong /w n64 emul,Where do I put themes? #17235InsecureSpikeParticipantyup the themes do go in /etc/emulationstation/themes but themes need to be remade, to be honest they are not too difficult once you get the hang of them (again) and I think there will be some good ones created,
I’ll have a look into remaking that one you mentioned in the other threadSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantyup will do as soon as I figure the most of it out I will, although, on Aloshe’s GitHub main page there’s a kinda explanation of the make up of it, and I’ve messaged Nils to see if he can give me some guidance

InsecureSpikeParticipantsame! just like switching normal pi’s awesome! I’ve packed away my powered hub, and have my F710 & wireless keyboard with track pad and my usb mounted file system! all plugged in the Pi+ now I could add my other F710 or I could actually start using my PiFi

InsecureSpikeParticipantmate at the moment the n64 is very touch n go, especially with the include emulator, there are tests being done on a newer version and it looks pretty cool! but as I said we may never have the pleasure of running every rom flawlessly I’m afraid to say, but hang in there
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantwow that looks awesome! are you overclocked at all?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
InsecureSpikeParticipantsame, I’ll hopefully test mine tomorro too

InsecureSpikeParticipantright now I’m starting with GBC, NES, and supernintendo. I’m just downloading the roms from romnation that are marked with “[U]” and “[!]” What are the romsets and xml’s? Thanks!
mate, please DON’T mention rom sites, I’m sure this is in a post somewhere Florian posted a few weeks ago,

InsecureSpikeParticipanta couple of posts back I posted my SNES retroarch.cfg file, it features a Mario Allstars work around!
InsecureSpikeParticipanti suggest you ONLY edit the buttons and NOTHING else and it should work, make sure you edit both controllers even if you only have one, if you have 2 make sure you only have 1 connected.
here it is…. unzip it, edit it, drop it in the /opt/retropie/configs/snes folder
