Howdy – looking for advice; bit of a retropie newb.

Wanting to get mario kart 64 ironed out for a staff christmas party (pre party – don’t worry that’s not all were doing). Mario kart menu looked terrible on retroarch default emulator; figured out how to change the emulator using ./retropie_setup.sh. So far glide works best for me including graphics and sound (rice had bad sound for me on pi2).

However, as soon as I step away from retro arch; the controls are all messed up for my game pad controller; can’t figure out even how to accelerate. Have checked the other retro arch config files (as I’m sure you have to provide a controller mapping somewhere) – but don’t know where to do this. Any advice? mucho gracias!
