g0nz0ukParticipant
You have got further than me. Since Retropie 3.4 and above I can’t get my 2 wireless xboxs to work at all on the N64, all other emulators are good, don’t really want to roll back.
g0nz0ukParticipantalso when I go into Mario Kart 64 it says “Connect a controller to socket 1”
g0nz0ukParticipantLooks like my 2 controllers are seen as js4 and js5, normally they are js0 and js1

pi@retropie:/dev/input $In mupen64plus.cfg I am editing [Input-SDL-Control1] and [Input-SDL-Control2]
Should I be creating ones for [Input-SDL-Control4] and [Input-SDL-Control5]?
Thanks
g0nz0ukParticipantThanks dankcusion, nice link too.
g0nz0ukParticipantHello,
I got the coin button working but can only exit the game from 1 controller

g0nz0ukParticipantWould be great for games like Mario kart.
g0nz0ukParticipantWhat a great idea, did it work?
g0nz0ukParticipantDoes that mean brutal doom is possible on the Pi, I love this on the pc!
g0nz0ukParticipantI try scraper again, although last time no luck
g0nz0ukParticipantIs opt/retropie/configs/n64/mupen64plus.cfg still the only way to configure the controllers, there is no GUI for this like the others?
g0nz0ukParticipantThanks installing now, did the forum go down?
g0nz0ukParticipantpi@retropie:~ $ sudo apt-install joystick
sudo: apt-install: command not foundg0nz0ukParticipantOut of interest does Kodi run better through Openelec or Retropie as it’s experimental, or does it make no difference?
g0nz0ukParticipantAgree, still OK to copy the configs folder over the top as I’ve spent make hours changing all that on my 3.3 image?
g0nz0ukParticipantIf I upgrade can just copy over my roms and configs folders as my current 3.3 image has been customised quite a bit?
g0nz0ukParticipantIs it worth the upgrade/hassle?
g0nz0ukParticipantWow you can get Kodi to show up in Retropie, nice, is this built in now?
g0nz0ukParticipantI tried that too Floob, strange as I had the same game or 2 as you and yours has artwork and mine does, is it the naming convention or file format?
g0nz0ukParticipantYes he got a little excited there I must agree, thanks for the discussion though – case closed.
g0nz0ukParticipantCould be promising, I’m not sure what Beats of Rage is, great if it could help with the Streets of Rage remake being emulated.
g0nz0ukParticipantOld but seems some got it working
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26859&p=374573
g0nz0ukParticipantFloob, saw this seems some have repackage the install and launcher
http://www.sorrcommunity.com/t148-sor-v5-for-linux-debian-download-links
g0nz0ukParticipantMy Linux skills are not to good Flood, it’s a truly great game on Windows would be great to see on Retropie.
Did you have anymore luck in the end?
I may see if I can contact the chap who did the Linux version to see if he can provide any help, I doubt it but worth a go.
g0nz0ukParticipantI just can’t find the link, but I saw that someone had somehow created saves states for his games at all over his games menu screens and linked them to ES, they apparently loaded instantly. He was looking at making that save state read only too.
g0nz0ukParticipantWow you’ve added this to the the experimental menu, I need to try this. Hopefully you will get the official repo.
g0nz0ukParticipantVery nice, well done.
Would be nice to see a theme for the Game and Watch devices and Scummvm.
The Amiga and Spectrum ones are great.
Interesting you put Kodi on there, made me think how I can install it, having that on there means the Retropie is a fully fledged entertainment system.
g0nz0ukParticipantWow, have you got the donkey Kong ones working? Couldn’t see them though.
Can’t wait to get home and try this!
g0nz0ukParticipantThanks for trying Flood, there is a windows version so at least you guys can have a play, would be awesome to have in Retropie.
g0nz0ukParticipant512 mem split did the trick thanks!
g0nz0ukParticipantAll is updated and I’ve rebooted and my Xbox controllers are no longer connecting to my official Xbox wireless xbox receiver. Jstest show no controllers and I’ve re-installed the xbox drivers, any ideas?

pi@retropie ~ $g0nz0ukParticipantNo, but will try when I get home.
Is there a suggested memory split I should use? I’ve not used that option before so I’m not sure what options I will have.
g0nz0ukParticipantThanks so I just need to update the setup script then run the Binary Installation (recommended option)?
g0nz0ukParticipantGreat! is there a command to show what version I am on so I can make sure it’s gone from 3.2.1 to 3.3?
Thanks
g0nz0ukParticipantThanks, I just thought as it’s available to download within the Retropie GUI it’s safe to use and has been tried and tested. Then again I think it’s under the experimental menu. I will try the memory split first as this theme is just the best our there by far. If not I will set back to the basic one.
