You are the C64 king, that worked.

I guess like you mentioned I can only have one snapshot, so if I play one game and save the snapshot then go to another game it will load the snapshot form the other game?

    Hello,

I got to the Vice main menu > Snapshot > Save snapshot then I’m not sure, there are 3 options:

    Save currently attached disk images
    Save currently attached ROM images

    Select filename and save snapshot

What a shame we can’t save states this way, who do we raise this issue with do you think?

I tried your manual method, but wasn’t successful, if you get a chance can you explain in a little more detail.

BTW your controls are a dream, I like warp button.

    Hi tmar89,

    Hope you are well.

I’ve just built my new 3.6 image on my Pi3, the controls are almost there (need to test in more games), thing is the save and load state buttons work, but I now get the errors:

on savestate – “Vice error – Cannot save snapshot image”
on loadstate – “Vice error – Cannot read snapshot image” (I guess because there is no save”

    Have you got this issue?

    Thanks

Cheers Buzz, I just didn’t know how this worked, but that makes sense now you have explained it, sorry to have caused an issue, kinda scared to post anything now.

Keep up the good work, a great project.

    OMG! it works.

I’m not sure if it’s related but when I exit back out to the Ports menu in Emulation station, the other Port games can’t be run, they say permission denied. Could be just my install.

Flood – Great video as usual, where would we be with out you!
Zerojay – Wow what a great piece of work by you, this is just amazing.

The Pi 2 works well for me in terms for N64, I was surprised how bad it is on the Pi3 especially with the extra power.

To update mine is it best to simply uninstall and then reinstall through the menu where originally install it from?

They have been copied over but don’t show up, for example I have a lot of C64 and Spectrum games and looks like I have to scrape manually again, surely they have an equivalent to sselphs gamelist.xml?

    How are games like Wipeout?

That url is great, I’ve spent ages trying to get Wipeout to work and it shows there are issues with low framerate, wish I’d seen this earlier :).

Are there these sort of spreadsheets for other emulators?

Thanks, I wonder if the pi3 will run it any faster.

When I tried Jr in mame-adv if doesn’t run at all so I will have to see where I went wrong.

What tool did you use to get their running speeds please?

Not sure I’m allowed to say the full zip name, but something like buggyb or buggybjr and buggyboy as there is a cockpit and stand up version.

    Hello,

I’ve scraped mame not used the thumb_only switch but the images are quite low quality, around 14kb per image, how do I get them into a better resolution?

    Thanks

Just ordered my pi3 and I’m interested in getting my old psp games working, do you know if the wipeout games work well?

Great work Sselph. One question are there higher resolution pictures available, I use the nbba theme so images are large on the right but in mame the quality is very low, I used the thumbs only switch, should I delete the images and try without the thumbs switch?
