    I would say ssh into the pi and read the permissions. You may also have changed the permission on the main roms folder, but not all the folders within.

    I use the canakit WiFi adapter and it works great. As far as pushing and pulling roms, hook into the network and use winscp, its effective and familiar to most people.

    What pi are you running? Which console? I have been successful all the way to MK trilogy on PS1
