No rush at all with anything man. These should be made standard in the retropie build they are that good :D
dustloopParticipantYou are a legend in this community LodanZark. Doing this hard work for everyone is so good!
dustloopParticipantYes! I just got done adding your work to my setup. All thats needed handheld wise now is the Atari Lynx :D
I look forward to your grid version of this :D
dustloopParticipantOh my days I love this boot video! It’s my favorite one. Also that background music is love!
What is that track and is it possible to have a music track playing in the background? If so I want that music.
dustloopParticipantI just did mine and it looks AMAZING!!! So good to play in that green color!
Try again smartroad :D
I did Update Script>Install individual emulator>lr-gambette>source
dustloopParticipantYou beautiful people!
In time do you think something could be put into place where correct aspect ratios, correct filters color pallettes etc could be put into a outside source like the RP-Video-Manager so then if people want an auto setup sort of thing they can.
dustloopParticipantI need to set this up and try it when I get home.
To practically consolize the Amiga in Emulationstation is an amazing thing!
Thank you for all your hard work doing this :D
dustloopParticipantI remap the hotkey instead of select. I use a PS4 controller and remap the hotkey to 12 which is the guide button.
From what I remember you go into command by F4 then type;
jstest
I think it is that. I’m sure someone will correct me. With that command you can see what number buttons are being pressed.
dustloopParticipantHey Lodan, noticing alot of your work on here and its fantastic. How are you creating those borders?
Taking a screenshot then pulling it off the pi onto computer then going from there or another method?
dustloopParticipantI use a dualshock 4 and what I do is go into the GUI of Vice and then I press O on the option Warp to assign a button to it which I use R2 and then I save settings in the emulator then I have R2 set to warp to load games faster :)
dustloopParticipantI haven’t messed around too much YET with ScummVM but the few games I tried only 2 seemed a bit sluggish which were Broken Sword 1 and 2. Both seem to take a while to load and seem delayed with inputs. Another one I had issues with is Simon The Sorcerer due to not being able to access the menus with the controller.
dustloopParticipantThis looks outstanding! Does this take up alot of system resources on the Pi 2? I have been spending so much time customizing my romsets I am now looking for a flashy theme thats high quality. This looks like a great idea. I hope you make it public :D
dustloopParticipantFor those having issues setting it up or not getting it working, I discovered last night in the QUICK MENU and CORE SETTINGS that in lr-gambette you can emulate GameBoy colors without shaders and still achieve practically the same effect of the muddy green color which is all I wanted and now I have achieved it :D
dustloopParticipantThose are real good man! Real talent right there! Do you mind if I use this on my setup??
dustloopParticipantSorry to go off track but did you make that border yourself or did you get it somewhere else?
I have been wanting to find borders like that for weeks!
dustloopParticipantNo danger floob, I understand. For these lists is it better to use a full list or merged?
dustloopParticipantWhat I did was when I booted into lr-fba-next I opened up the RetroArch GUI while running the game, went to the binds and changed the coin button that I wanted from there then went into configuration then enabled save on exit. Quit the game, then rebooted to try and once I saw it working I turned the save config when exit off and quit again then tested and the button I wanted for coin was saved perfectly :)
I use a DualShock 4 and set my coin button to 12 which is the PS GUIDE button inbetween the sticks.
Hope this helps :)
dustloopParticipantSorry to change the course of this thread in a way. I have compiled a full FBA set compatible with FBA in retropie and I’m wondering if it’s possible to tell some roms to use MAME instead of moving and splitting files etc.
Example is Mikie. This has graphical glitches all over running on FBA but I have a feeling will work ok on MAME. Is there a way for me to add emulators to the FBA list so I can try a version of mame?
dustloopParticipantSounds like a possible bad flash at the time??? Not 100% sure. I had this issue when I installed Retropie 3.1. Same symptoms I just did a full format on the card and re-installed it I’m using 32GB and it worked fine.
