There is a simple way to fix this bug.

1) Open the boot folder shared in the network (or in Retropie Terminal) use an editor and open cmdlne.txt

2) add this code: usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x05e1:0x040 as first command

3) Save the file and close the editor

5) Reboot and, now, your controller work fine. No kernel needed, nothing to install.

This is an easy way…

Hi, i’ve compiled and installed form source in Retropie 3.2, u must install form source with some dependeces and xorg. There is an error in the wiki page but i’ve solved. xinit attractmode to start the frontend. I’ve made a personal menu for EmulationStation were is possible to start Attract Mode, and personal tool for install the GPIO Driver mk_arcade_joystick_rpi ecc.

You CAN install X11 and launch EmulationStation with xinit emulationstation i use this command to launch Attract Mode, wich require Xorg, from EmulationStation in Retropie on Raspberry pi 2.

There is a problem with kernel support for this hardware, The 2nd joystick don’t work correctly as player 2. Have you solved it? If yes, can you link me a solution for this, please? Thank And sorry for my bad english!

I would like to understand one thing … Can you hear the sounds while playing ?if so you just have to set omxplayer to redirect the output relay to audio output mini jack . To do that you have to add , in the configuration file of the splash screen , the option -o local after the command omxplayer. The configuration file is located in /etc/asplashscreen. You can try to modify it with nano. sudo nano -w /etc/asplashscreen

Hi, How many buttons i’ve not problem with mk_arcade_joystick… Yuo must set correct buttons in Emulationstation. Other button must be skipped during the configuration, pressing (pre assigned button for a while)
