    No probs man, glad you got it sorted.

    I’ve never been able to change for the default skin. I’ve been using XBMC since it was XBMP on the original Xbox and always stayed with he default. I loved Project Mayhem but really like Confluence too.

    Ok, thanks jiggawatt, I finally got it done! The batteries where fine, as soon as I plugged them in ps3 they went to 100%.

    Anyway, for records sake all I did was write the RetroPie image to the SD card again and instead of updating the RetroPie Setup script, I just resized the partition and went straight to install PS3 controller from the RetroPie-Setup.sh script. Once again, it didn’t detect the PS3 controller over USB so I ran;

    sudo /opt/retropie/supplementary/ps3controller/sixpair

    and it paired fine.

    Stopped sixad using;

    sixad --stop

    then started it again using;

    `sixad -s’

    and it connected first time.

    So thanks again and anyone else having the ‘PS3 Controller not found’ error using the PS3 driver install on the RetroPie-Setup.sh script should give these instructions a try.

    I’ve tried to use as many exact terms as possible so hopefully people can find this from Google.

    Thanks again

    Hey Jiggawatt thanks for the reply.

    Hmmm it kind of worked but then I got same sequential lights and off, so maybe I did have them paired properly but just didn’t see the following error until I now. This is the output;

    sixad-bin[2726]: started
    sixad-bin[2726]: sixad started, press the PS button now
    sixad-sixaxis[2729]: started
    sixad-sixaxis[2729]: Connected 'PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller (04:98:F3:33:BC:52)' [Battery 00]
    sixad-sixaxis[2729]: Bad Sixaxis buffer (out of battery?), disconneting now...

    Now, both controllers have been fully charged. According to the PS3, they are both at 100%.

    I think I’ll leave them on charge for a couple of hours again and see if the ps3 is just showing it wrong for some reason although, seems unlikely doesn’t it?

    I’ll say the same as Mutex. The best way to do this would be to run the RetroPie setup script on top of an OSMC setup. Then you could autostart EmulationStation and put in an option to start the media centre from there or find a way to set a launcher to start emulation station from inside OSMC.

    What amp is the power supply you’re using? It could be as simple as the pi is not getting enough power. It also could not be but its something to check just in case.

    Seems like a royal pain in the arse! I’ve got it to start games as referred to in the other thread (which I shall ask to be removed if it’s gonna just cause problems). It just seems to crash at the same point for each game I’ve tried (which I am wildly guessing is when it wants to access the memory stick). I guess I’ll just leave it to the people who know what they’re doing, such as yourself.

    I was doing some reading on the official RPi forums and people who have been successful have only been so using an OS other than wheezy. IIRC the guy thinks it’s to do with arm6 libraries being used.

    Would the RetroPie Setup script work with Jessie? Either Debian Jessie or simply changing the apt sources in Raspbian Wheezy to jessie and doing dist-upgrade?

    I have plenty of sd cards and I’m having fun testing things at the minute as I’m still just learning a lot.

    links to his downloads

    Sorry guy’s, I’ve removed the links as they contain illegal iso’s and roms.

    I’m currently in the process of extracting the needed files and integrating them into my retropie setup. Once I’ve done (if i can accomplish it) i’ll zip the required files and zip them up and post a detailed guide on how to put it into your existing retropie setup’s.

    I’ll see about making a simple script to do it but I’ve never wrote one before but it shouldn’t be too hard with a bit of help. It will only be a few commands like wget and unzipping, but I need to find a way to add the section into es_systems.cfg without replacing the existing one. The folder set up is slightly different on pigame centre regarding where roms are stored as it’s divided into sections like ‘console’ and ‘arcade’. I’m sure I can get some help with it from someone who knows what they’re doing.

    sorry about all the posts btw.

    oldchocobo, is that all it is? 1 euro? I’ll donate and then pass the image onto this site so they can look at the psp implementation then it’s free for everyone.

    Does the middle X button on the 360 controller function? Maybe use that to exit ScummVM? I know mupen64plus (non retroarch) does not support modifier buttons, maybe ScummVM also doesn’t? I don’t know for sure though as I have never tried it.

    Gizmo, are all your rom specific settings enabled if I install the testing build in the setup script? Or do I need to add them in myself? I chanced upon them in your github page.

    I’m not sure how to go about this, however you may have more luck and a faster response asking in a generic linux help forum about getting setup up as js3.

    Do you have the other 2 controllers plugged in or powered up if using bluetooth? Surely that would then assign it differently?

    Any noobish friendly guide to compile it jbam? I’m perfectly fine using ssh console to do it. Are the save/load bugs to do with save state or actual saving in game?

    Excellent! Working absolutely perfect for me now! Thanks a lot. Really impressed with the performance improvements on the rpi2. Every game I’ve tried upto now works great. Have you had any luck setting higher resolutions? or is there a way to stretch to full screen?

    Excellent, that resolved the controller issue. Thanks

    Any ideas about the es_systems.cfg? Does it still exist?
