I’m not having any issues, I think the router did assign them different ips but they keep the same ip as long as they are plugged into the same port in the router. I have it connected via LAN.
Kodi is always .12 at the end and retropie is always .6 at the end.
As I said, if I do have any issues I can’t change in terminal on the pi I can use windows network.
I think it was someone a few posts up having a problem.
cjohnstone87ParticipantJust to say my build appears to have different ip addresses for each boot.
I can access both partitions and all files by whatever I’m logged in as appearing automatically in windows network. (Using windows 7)
Just open up any config files in notepad then save over them
cjohnstone87ParticipantHmm,
I don’t think there is anything in 3.4 that I actually need.
I think I will just use 3.2 for now as it was almost bug free up until I messed it up myself haha
cjohnstone87ParticipantOk, since I hit the update buttons within the retroarch rgui in the psx emulator to try and get the analogs working I have been unable to get my hot keys working again.
My plan is to do a fresh install now with the multi boot file in this thread for openelec 15.2 and retropie v3.2.1
My question is, once I have installed the image, before I tinker with anything, can I update the script and install 3.4 from binary in the Retroarch-setup.sh?
Thanks in advance
cjohnstone87ParticipantIs it just the psx the analog doesn’t work properly? That was the only
Emulator I had an issue with. Everything else worked fine.Just means having to change each console retroarch.cfg.
When I changed mine on the psx emulator I had to go into the core-options-input and manually change that file back to user 1 joypad “standard” to get the controller working in there again. But somewhere it has ruined the hockey’s input as per yours and not matter what I do I can’t get them back.
I’m going to try installing a fresh image to an as card today, and swapping all the retroarch cfg files to standard ones.
If that fail it’ll be a fresh install which is really like to avoid as I have kodi all setup working as I want it :,(
cjohnstone87ParticipantHave you had any luck or is anyone able to advise? I’m having the exact same problem!
cjohnstone87ParticipantManaged to get this fixed.
Had to go into retroarch-core-options.cfg and manually change user1 and 2 from analog to standard.
Thanks for the reply
cjohnstone87Participant[quote=114905]Change your video options in the pre game config. I had mine change on me and for some reason it wasn’t detecting the bios or my controllers.
For reference Im talking about resoultion@hz options.

Hi, where about do I find these settings? I just installed the BIOS but I’m having controller issues.
I’m not getting the no bios error and it seems to be detecting my controller. It’s just not doing anything when I use any other button.
I can access the In game config setting by pressing the ps button. But that’s it.
Any help welcome!
cjohnstone87ParticipantAlthough I did see v3.4 was released. Will there be a 3.4 and 15.2 dual boot afoot?
:0)
cjohnstone87ParticipantHi Smithers,
I tried to get the ps1 working. I added in the 1001BIOS.BIN which was recommended by TechTipsta.
That went well and rom booted up ok. I started game play and when I couldn’t move crash, I pushed “select and triangle” to get into the settings GUI and changed the control type to retropie + analogue.
From then on the controller had no response I game at all. I have to use the keyboard to quit the game.
I also noticed that for all emulators the PS button now launched the emulator GUI settings and select and start together no longer quits the game. I have to quit from the GUI menu.
I tried reinstalling the retropie files via binary files using ./retropie_setup.sh.
This hasn’t sorted the toggle buttons for the menu but I can now access the GUI settings again in the ps1 game. Still doesn’t respond to any other buttons though.
No idea what else to try other than a fresh install. Is there anyway to wipe and reinstall the retropie part Of
Your dual boot without affecting kodi? Thanks in advance
Cjohnstone87cjohnstone87ParticipantThought I’d report back.
Figured out that v3 of retropie just has 1 folder for each emulator.
Pressed button 0 (select for PS3 as standard) while loading a ROM and changed the default to mupen64plus(gles2n64).
All ROMs tried so far working good!
cjohnstone87ParticipantHi Smithers
I used this latest build and have had no problems up until now.
My issue is there is only the libretro n64 emulator. The other emulator mupen64plus doesn’t seem to be there.
Is there any way to install this without having to start again?
Thanks in advance
