It does work! The different s between kodi and osmc are night and day as far as speed goes.If you like kodi, you will love osmc.Load times are almost non-existent.Retropie 3.o will load up with with osmc if your savvy enough.
Guys you need to try things on your own before stating something doesn’t work.I know all this works I have tested it first hand! Thanks fellow gamers, game on

You have to save all the games you have in the roms folders. Then you creat new 3.0 image, set it up first the turn the usb back up on .Then on you pc you can place the roms in the new rom location.I know it works I have just done it!Happy gaming

Your guess is as good as mine.I have all the mame roms(the correct number)and still won’t play most of the games I loaded.I have 2000 games loaded in the fba and about 5 of them work. The people who made these emulators lied on the compatibly sheet that are included in the system.Street fighter 3.Fba,advance mame and mame all say they run this game.I even download loaded the number attached to the game and still nothing.Im gonna put snes nes sega and atari on it and give it to some lucky kid.I have 10 real computers that don’t have these kind of problems.I hate the pi it has really stole about 3 months of life and I want it back.It would have been nice to have all my games on a dedicated machine but I’m done wasting my time for not.Oh yea not one reply from this website in all that time.

All the games you mentioned work except for mk trilogy for n64.I have tested all of these myself!Go with mk for mame, then you get the arcade version not some shity port!

Do you have linux on any other pc?If so I use the drag and drop method using my linux machine its so much easier than using the terminal.I find the commands you people post then look for the folders on the card in my linux mint machine. You can edit remove delete add whatever.Take your sd card out of the pi and put it in the linux pc and go from there.I don’t know why any of you use the terminal.I bought my pi2 a month ago and only have used the terminal to set up the pi.After that I use my linux machine for adding roms and for adjusting arch.No terminal needed. Not even for the controllers. All the config files can be found with out the terminal.

If you want the controller to work for the snes hold select hit y and a on that controller it should take you to another screen that you can map it yourself.
If the controller wont let you in this menu.Use the genisis libre.. menu first same method, pick a game .wait for it to start.Hold select and hit all 4 buttuns on face of your controller you should see arch pop up use this it works for all other emulators the have libre in the title and some others! Also try all the emulators some do not work with a pad period\

I don’t how yours work with zip files but none of the emulators I used would except zip files or winrar files.I had to decompress everything.I been on it for about 12 days and cant get the classic xbox,xbo360,Ps3or any aftermarket controllers to work.I can control the sega genesis and snes emulator, the ports but thats it.I have all the roms for every system installed except mame.I wanna play my nes and all the rest.
I have used the auto config, and arch and still no luck.If you have time could you show you full settings listed in Retro arch.I have my j test working and also the Register configs but damn I still got nothing.Do I need to unplug the keyboard as well?Point me in right direction please!!! My head really hurts.I am super familiar with linux and windows but,I don’t know.

Hey there my fellow pi guy.Im having some of the same trouble trouble with my pi2.Two days ago I got an after market ps3 controller to work with the ps3 set tools in the automated section.I also got it to register in arch. Well I mistype a few keys when editing in the terminal -nano ./controller thingy and had to wipe it out.Now I cant seem to get it to recognize the controller any more.I also cant access -jcong either.Hopefully some one will get it done and post a complete image so all that is needed is a download and install.I have got almost a full week in on this thing to no a veil.On the bright side I did figure out how to use xbobx360 wired controller.Just type this sudo apt-get install xboxdvr afterwards do the same but install joystick. Now go and register it for arch.I hope this helped
