WII Controller Help

Basically what is happening is,

Retropi 3.5, running

Bluetooth, running

Paired WII Controller, done

Checked retropi can see the controller and registers when I press a key.

Won’t show as a gamepad?

Help me pleaseeeee!! In useless with coding and stuff!! And I have tried the tutorials but most of the time they are either old or my RP2 won’t create the file I need? help?

Main reason I’m using this controller is because my ps3 controller is not working soooo yay me … Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!

hi, may i check with you how did you manage to get your bluetooth to detect the wii controller?

my bluetooth is not able to detect my wii controller at all however, i’m able to pair it successfully with my wii station.

All I did was

>click scan for bluetooth devices
>while holding down the reset button on the back of the wii controller.
>Not letting go of the button until it comes up that it is connected on the screen.

But what I have done is just homebrew my wii and played emulators off that, a lot easier and more powerful :D and the controller always works, win win.
