    I am currently running 3.0 beta 4.

    Can I update to the final release internally, or will I have to start fresh with an entirely new image file (and re-install every game and setting)?

    Appreciate any input!

    You can update the setup script and try a full binary install (make backups first) and it should work but I usually just start from a fresh image.

    I made backups and then updated the setup script and did a full binary install.
