    Is it possible to use another button?

    Yes, a hardware button. Is it just a quick short-circuit to send the signal to the Raspberry?

    When the button is pressed, the pin is pulled high. I hope this helps?!

    So technically, instead of using this button, i can wire it to the NES reset button instead?
