    I am installing RetroPie for the first time. This is my first real Linux project. I have a RaspberryPi B+ with a fresh image of Raspbian.

    I tried following the steps on https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup. But when I try to install from source to get the latest version of everything, leaving all options checked (the default), I got errors when I checked several hours later and it hadn’t finished.

    Is it a bad practice to leave everything checked?
