some MAME game don't work ?!

did it say certain roms were missing or did it just freeze up or something. Different versions of MAME work with different versions of rom dumps, which is the one thing about MAME I don’t like. I guess they keep finding better versions or something.

Roms need to be from romset 0.37b5

Ok, When i played the game on pc using MAME 0.154 it says:
“The selected game is missing one or more required Rom or CHD images”
but in RetroPie it display black screen has the text below on it & quite the game.
ng on HDMI with explicit setting (CEA mode 4)
“knightsofValour” not supported
ng on HDMI with preferred setting

Can you tell me how to change romset for mame games. please ?!

Ok, There is a site provided mame 0.37b5 roms but i dose not have Knights of Valour or Knights of Valour 2 games So we will go back to the main question.How to change romset for mame games ?
