I have noticed that no matter how fast a machine may be, that FallOut has very sluggish menus when playing it under DOSbox on AROS or on the Pi. In fact the behavior is exactly the same with the two ports which is odd because I ran the AROS port on a 3Ghz Machine and my Pi2 only runs at 1050Mhz (over clocked) and the Pi 3 runs at 1200Mhz.
The game play is fine, maybe a tiny bit sluggish compared to other port, but doable. Video play back is smooth too, but when you hit those menus the frames always take a hit. Yet if you run Dosbox on a much slower Linux or Windows box, then I don’t have these issues.
What could be the cause of this?
