As the subject says, I am getting segmentation faults in loads of systems. For example, SNES, Intellivision, Videopac, GBA etc. Whereas other systems are working perfectly.

Any ideas how to fix this? Retropie 3.6 with a Pi 3.

    Tnx!

Are you overclocked? Could be that you have an unstable overclock if so.

Not that I am aware of no. Can I check that somehow?

Well I fixed the SNES problems (bad roms it seems) but some other systems still dont work – GBA seems to be the main offender. Roms look OK.

In my experience, segfaults are caused by overheating which can corrupt the memory card. If you’re overclocking, make sure you have a heatsink or an open case.

You might be able to reinstall the emulator to fix this issue if it’s only affecting the one system.

Did you install the GBA bios?

I’m with zerojay on this one. It will segfault if the GBA bios isn’t found and good romsets are also crucial (learnedthis myself the hard way).
