Retropie image. No video after picture "Retropie project".

I’m using RetroPieImage_ver1.9.1. and booting “as is” via HDMI to my monitor and get no video (check the cable).
Then I started with modifyed /boot/config.txt (uncomment “#hdmi_safe=1#) and get 640×480 video image.
But next probem is that after picture “Retropie project”, I get black screen with unresponsive keyboard. If uncommented “#framebuffer_width=1280
#framebuffer_height=720” i get black screen with white dot.

Looks ok, do you have another power supply and usb cable you can try? I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a dodgy usb cable. Also which resolutions does your monitor support?

I don’t have another power supply yet, but i’m sure that is ok.
I have Hp Pavilion 22xi that support 1920×1080 and lower.
When i see “retropie project” my keyboard is responding and i can switch tty. Then in tty2 I login as pi\raspberry and i see input dialog for emulation station.

I just upgraded Rpi’s firmware and with fresh flashed Retropie image it’s runs ok: i got video after “retropie project” screen. Keyboard is working in ES, emulators runs and exiting fine. For now all works!

Problem returns after “sudo update, sudo upgrade”. This is similar to the incorrect configuration of video. In which config I can play with video?
