Recommendations for retropie install walkthrough

Hi all-

I just got a raspberry pi 2 and my first project idea was to try to get retropie running on it to start playing old games.

There are a lot of walkthrough tutorials online and I just picked one from instructables that sounded good, sunk like 11 hours into it, and by the end, couldn’t even get emulationstation to load.

If you’ve successfully installed retropie and used a tutorial without incident, can you recommend one?
