PS3 sixad controller time out

In 3.2.1 i had edited the saxid default profile and added
enable_timeout 1
timeout_mins 15
which powered off the ps3 controller after 15 min of in activity.

clean install of build 3.3.1 making no changes but to update retropie-setup, install/pair the ps3 controller and add the two lines to sixad default profile.

The controller never turns off on its own i have to hold the PS button for 10 sec. Any suggestions on how to resolve.

i commented out the changes from the commit in the BT main.conf and rebooted but no change.

Sony Dualshock 3 auto time out problems

I am having the same issue. The odd thing is, I do remember this working at one time (a few releases back). Thanks for the suggestion as well herbfargus, but no luck for me either. Really wish I could resolve this :-)

I just wanted to chime in that I recently updated to 3.4, completely removed sixad and re-installed. Unfortunately I still have the same problem as you.

enable_timeout 1
timeout_mins 15 (or any value)

Still no longer works.
