Problems with compiling PiSNES

I started another topic earlier today where I was having problems with compiling MAME after editing the minimal.cpp file to not ignore 6+ axis controllers (https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Setting-Up-a-PS3-controller-for-mame4all-pi).

I fixed that issue by running make CFLAGS+=”-lrt” and it worked. I have tried make LDFLAGS+=”-lrt” and still getting same results when I compil PiSNES. This is the same error that I received earlier verbatim but the same fix is not working.

I am extremely close to having everything 100% to where I want it and this is the last thing. Any suggestions?
