PDF Reader – Ebooks – Gaming Magazines

Would be a nice touch if we could view old game magazines in ES. I have collections of Atari/Amiga/Spectrum magazines in pdf format. I have this setup in GameEx and works very well and brings nolstalgia flooding back :)…would love to see this ES one day.

I have no idea if the Pi is powerful enough to run a full screen PDF reader, but I do like the idea of having a gamelist.xml of magazines with front covers in place of game artwork !

With the text: maybe change ‘genre’ to ‘console’ and change ‘developer’ to something else, or remove it completely.

Scrolling through the magazines with a controller would be very cool!
