NES games look out of focus slightly fuzzy

Hi everyone

Im wondering if anyone can help me as to why all NES games look kinda fuzzy/out of focus a little?
Im using Retropie 3.3.1 and everything is working fine just as I said the NES games look well out of focus.
Any help would be great thanks

Maybe its the smooth option?

Or you may find it easier in Emulation Station to choose the RetroPie menu
– Edit RetroPie/Retroarch configurations
– Change common RetroArch options
– all/retroarch.cfg
– video_smooth

Although you may want to investigate overlays and shaders
