Multiple Controller issues in certain SNES games

Hi,

The problems listed in the 2 threads below still exist despite the switch to PiSNES. I am using the new 2.4 BETA image.

2 player SNES issues

Basically in some SNES games like Super Bomberman 5 the 2nd controller only works while a button on the 1st controller is held down. In other games they both work perfectly.

Would anyone be able to help me out?

EDIT: Turns out it’s happening in more games, including Micro Machines 2 and Donkey Kong Country.

UPDDATE:

So I discovered it was using the old petropie snes emulator because the roms were in the snes folder, not the snes-pisnes folder :P.

Anyway, 2 controllers are now working but not 4 >:(

Anyone know anything about this?
