I have a cabinet without an active power button…I don’t mind leaving my pi on all day because it uses such little power when idle, but I am concerned about my monitor being left on. I currently have the ES screensaver set to black but it obviously won’t put the monitor to sleep. I’m running HDMI from the pi to the monitor, is there any way to get the monitor to go into sleep mode if Retropie is left idle long enough? Could this be something scripted in?
Should I take the silence as it not being possible ;)? Just curious if there’s a way to have the monitor go to sleep when the Pi goes idle using HDMI or not. If not I need to figure out some other solution.
