I’m in the final process of wiring up buttons and joysticks to my Mini-Pac via harness. Mini-Pac has documentation on wiring diagrams, but I’m having a hard time understanding their language. I did figure out which terminal was the ground. :)
My question is this – does it really matter what wires I attach to the buttons or joystick since Emulation Station is going to have me map it upon boot? Can I just attach the wires to any pin and re-program inside of retropie/retroarch/emulation station?
I’m sure this is a dumb question, but I really don’t know.
I have two joysticks, six action buttons per, 3 “other” buttons per. Typical set up. No spinner or trackball.
