Recently i installed RetroPie and changed the Master System and Game Gear section of es_config to this:

COMMAND=retroarch -L /home/pi/RetroPie/emulatorcores/Genesis-Plus-GX/genesis_plus_gx_libretro.so –config /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg %ROM%
PLATFORMID=35
DESCNAME=Sega Game Gear
NAME=gamegear
PATH=/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/gamegear
EXTENSION=.gg .GG
COMMAND=retroarch -L /home/pi/RetroPie/emulatorcores/Genesis-Plus-GX/genesis_plus_gx_libretro.so –config /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg %ROM%
PLATFORMID=20
and now after i select a rom, it displays a little bit of code and prompts me back to the rom list. Used various roms and copied some ones, same result :(
