lr-mame2003 Wont Run Anything

I can’t seem to run any ROMs with lr-mame2003. Not a single ROM. I have used “mame2003-lr-no-clones-no-neogeo.xml” to rebuild and followed the instructions provided up higher on the page. I am rebuilding from a full 0.162 set. I am new to this, but I have also successfully rebuilt ROMs for lr-fba-next and lr-imame4all without any problems.

List of some ROMs I have tried (including many more)…

1941: Counter Attack
Alien vs Predator
Galaxian
Street Fighter
Super Street Fighter II
TMNT 1 & 2

It could be the dat file (there may have been issued with that one as I never tested it). Try building with the non filtered .dat file and see if you get any results

Still not working. After I posted this I noticed that there is a new version. I would have installed 3.3 and see how it works first had I known.

mame 2003 uses mame .78 so I would try and rebuild from that if possible. I think that dat should work (I created it:)). did you download it from https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs ? that’s where I personally upload to.

I’ll double check later tonight I uploaded the right one!

Yes, that is where I downloaded it. I am getting the .78 romset now. I will update on how it goes. Thank you :)

I decided to just upgrade to 3.3. Everything is working perfectly now :)
