    Hi,
I have a preinstall debian OS on my sd card. I used retropie script with “source-based (custom) installation” to install. All done after 30 hours. I didnt remove any option while installing.
But, it is not work on boot. it is also not working through lx terminal too. I wrote “emulation station”,”emulationstation”…
As a newbie to a linux system, need help.

I would need to look at a log to see if anything didn’t work – you are probably better off with doing a binary install though – most of the binaries are reasonably up to date currently. if new to linux – using the prebuilt 2.4.2 image might do you even better.

The os on the current system has an image which provides to work 4 inch tft. Unfortunately, there is no driver for the tft. Thus i have to setup retropie on an existing image. This is why i cant use an prebuilt image.

I will try with binaries. I will write if the same problem reoccur.
