i've installed retropie 3.2.1 for pi2 but don't find how to setup the controller

at the first boot i made the changes so that i can choose with the controller.
then after reaching step 4 (the lifehacker article) i could not find the sections of configuring the controller for the games themselves.

do you understand me?

i did not made the controller configuration at fist boot right.

how do i return to the beginning of the controller set up?

please help with how to return to the first controller setup. like in the first bootup.

i already made all other basic steps but need to reconfigure my super nintendo game pad

you can reconfigure it from the “start menu”. if you are unable to navigate, you could unplug the controller, and it should prompt and you could use a keyboard, or alternatively go to retropie-setup and choose to re-install emulationstation from binary which will reset the config.
