Hi all, just got my first RP yesterday.

I have a RP2-B and I used BerryBoot on a 16GB card to install Rasberian, RetroPie and Openelec. I get into Retropie ok, I’ve set up my controller and can get around all of the menu’s. I’ve transferred ROM’s and can see them on the RP, yet I’m not sure how to launch them?

From the left/right scroll, I have RetroPie, ScummVM, Apple, DOS, etc. When I go into RetroPie, I see all of the config items like Setup Wifi, Configure Audio, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to see my list of games.

Also, on a side issue, I have seen a lot of tutorials that say I want to select the option to “Expand Filesystem.” Since I have 3 different OS’s on 1 card, should I skip that?

    Thanks!

Did you make sure that they were the right file extension?

Also did you refresh emulationstation by pressing f4 or selecting quit from the start menu?

I don’t know about expanding the filesystem with berryboot, I’ve never used that before.

The refresh didn’t seem to help. I still go straight into the config menu when selecting RP.

You know….I’ve tried to set up MAME several times on a PC and have always given up as I can never get any of the ROMS to actually work. I’m wondering if I’ve headed down the same path.

I’ve got several .n64 roms in the /home/pie/RetroPie/roms/n64 folder.

ok, I think I got it. Now I see a “nintindo 64” section of the main menu, and when I select it, the 3 games are there. I thought you were supposed to go into the RetroPie section.

Bummer is that the roms stutter really badly.

n64 is always hit and miss. the only thing I’ve gotten to run semi decent is mario kart on the gles2n64 plugin.

man, that’s disappointing, but thanks for letting me know. The Nintendo stuff was a lot of the reason I was trying out this project.
