how to have only system makes in main menu?

ok i have an idea, how can i set up so that i have Atari, PC Engine, Nintendo, Sega & Sony. in the main menu. then in each sub folder have that makes systems e.g. Sega: SG1000, Master System, Game Gear, Megadrive/Genesis, Mega CD/Sega CD and 32x, all in the sub menu of Sega, and each have its own folder with corresponding roms.
then how do i go about assigning emulators to each system.

You can sort the systems by manufacturer Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, etc…I did this way. You could use the generations 8 bits, 16 bits, etc to sort too.
