How to get games to be 16:9?

I know it’s not the native format but I’d like games to be 16:9. Also, if i could somehow make the resolution higher that would be awesome! I’m mostly interested in doing this for PSX games. Thanks!

If using the retroarch set of emulator just going into Settings and then Video and change the aspect ratio to 16:9

Thank you! I figured out that you can’t put only save configuration on exit; you also have to enable per core settings or something. Wonder what the deal is with that!

Your main retroarch config is overriding the emulator specific one, go into your main retroarch.cfg and explicitly tell it to save on exit:

config_save_on_exit = "true"

then ALL emulators that use retroarch should save changes you make to their configs when you exit.
