    I am new to this forum… I have found posts on a hissing sound after you load into retropie, and disable_audio_dither=1. I can not find where to put this line. I have tried a couple different locations and nothing seam to help. I am running the latest version image Version 3.6 for Raspberry Pi 2 and 3. Is this something I can fix???

    Pretry sure it is meant to be put into /boot/config.txt and then reboot.

    when I try to edit this file it gives me a permission denied

    thanks zerojay, after a little more digging I found the code to be able to change things…
