Duplicare names on mame roms

Hello
iam new to retropie and I have set it up basically for mame. My set up is raspberry pi B -retropie 2.6.
I have sorted most issues I came across but the issue I can’t sort is duplicate names on mame. Sometims a game needs 2 or 3 zip files to run and all those files come up with the same name on the game list. For example the game toki needs 4 zip files to work, so on my game list a I have 4 times the name Toki. Any help will be appreciated .

You could remove the clones?

I have tried removing them but some roms won’t play unless you add the clones .

Clones will need parents. But parents dont need clones.
