DGen Aspect ratio and 'joy_quit'

Hi,

I have RetroPie installed from the SDCard Image 1.5. I trying to tweak my DGen configuration (DGen is v1.32). I know DGen is not part or RetroArch. I’m digging inside ~/RetroPie/configs/all/dgenrc

– I can’t have the aspect ratio to be 4:3. Even by removing the -f switch. Is it a DGen 1.32 limitation?

– I can’t have the “joy_quit” parameter set to two different buttons. Example: joy_quit = joystick0-button8+joystick0-button9
Is there a way to do it?

– Is there a simple way to install another Genesis/Megadrive emulator and to link it to the rest of the architecture ? Maybe this emulator should just be “standalone” because not linked to RetroArch ?
