Config Controller buttons in gpSP

As the title suggests I am having trouble configuring the buttons on my controller in gpSP. I have tried altering input.c in the raspberrypi folder and running make -i but obviously I either missed some other file that I have to change or I’m off all together.
When I look online most people seem to point to this repo on git hub https://github.com/Aloshi/gpsp however when I try to go there I get 404 Page not found.

Could someone please tell me how/if I can change the controller config in gpSP?

CD into the gpSP directory in your terminal and then just run ./gpsp

It will launch a GUI that allows you to configure the controller.
