    since now retropie support Kodi, and its not a soul gaming dedicated project.
    is there a comic book reader we could try out?
    or even a ebook/comicbook reader?

    how awesome would it be to have these on a tv screen!!!!

    This might work, providing that the comic book is in epub format. There is a comic addon, but not for comic books, comic strips like garfield and the like.
